Thespians Receive Honors At ThesCon
At the Colorado State Thespian Conference, OHS had nine events qualify for nationals including Wray Szenderski (Solo Musical Theatre), Kylie Wieand (Solo Musical Theatre), Asher Wolf (Solo Musical Theatre), Breonn Lyons and Dalanda Balde (Duet Scene), Ashley Keya, Cassidee Raffa, Lucy Albers-Mead, and Maxcy Ross (Group Scene), Jackson Ross and Joseph Wersch (Duet Scene), William Vaughn (Solo Musical Theatre), Samuel Wersch (Monologues), and Sophia Guagliardo (Monologues). We had two events win Critic’s Choice: Kylie Wieand (Solo Musical Theatre) and Breonn Lyons & Dalanda Balde (Duet Scene). Out of every duet or group scene that was brought to the State Thespian Conference, Breonn Lyons and Dalanda Balde were chosen to perform during the closing ceremonies as the best scene of the conference. Congratulations, Thespians!

THESPIANS SHINE AT THESCON

Congratulations to the following Thespians, who won Critic's Choice for Improvisation at ThesCon: Isaac Hill, Alex Martin, Harper Guagliardo, Abraham Guzman, Kingahnah Grant-Perry, and Ta'Lor Mosley. Additionally, senior Wendy Lyson received 15 callbacks, was accepted to college costuming programs, and was offered scholarship money for her portfolio. A shout out to Dalanda Balde and Breonn Lyons, who also qualified at the International Thespian Conference. Way to go, Blazers!

THE ODD COUPLE CAST & CREW QUALIFY FOR STATE
NOVEMBER 2015 | Congratulations to director Eric Eidson and the cast and crew of The Odd Couple. The show scored in the top two in the state of Colorado and was performed at ThesCon in December 2015! [Overland Points of Pride]
